It's time to officially start the Truck World Cup 2020 in collaboration with Renault Trucks! After receiving more than 3100 entries to the competition inbox, select members from the SCS Software and Renault Trucks teams took on the daunting task of picking 32 entries to proceed into the next round. This was by no means an easy task, as we sorted through thousands of different variations of Renault Trucks in accessorized with different custom paint jobs, modifications, and much more. We were overwhelmed by the staggering amount customizations made possible by talented modders from around the world. So, who are the 32 participants, and what happens next? I would like to celebrate an anniversary with you today. Back in 2010, I started this blog as a way to keep the community updated and to quote the very first post - "to post screenshots of games under development, share behind the scenes information, and point out interesting places on the net related to SCS Software's games." Frankly, I was not fully aware of what kind of commitment I had created for me and eventually for a small team here at SCS. While our company continues to work from home during this difficult time, most of us have settled into creating our own little office working space within our living space (see our first home office blog post). Although working from home does have it own challenges, the main one being distractions! After much testing, feedback, fixing and fine tuning, we are excited to announce the arrival of update 1.37 for American Truck Simulator!  We'd like to thank every single one of you for all your help with your bug reports, opinions and general feedback during the Open Beta. We hope you can now begin to fully enjoy the new features included within this update. The main feature included with this update is the implementation of our new sound engine based on the powerful and flexible FMOD library; which radically redefines the way we mix vehicle and environment sounds. This update includes new sounds for most of the AIs (including trains) and the inclusion of a true Doppler effect for passing vehicles. This also brings an array of new sound options for users accessed from the main menu, that allows you to tweak many more individual sounds to your liking. The #TruckAtHome event has come to end, which made way for the highly anticipated ETS2 1.37 Open Beta; nonetheless, we couldn't be more proud of our community. Players from around the world united in driving loads in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator to help spread this important message, to stay at home. On March 30th we began the event, setting the rules very clear and simple with no goal to reach. Our aim? To get as many people involved, in any way they can, while remaining at home and to complete as many jobs as possible. Within the first 24 hours, you had already collectively driven 120 million kilometers and by the time we released our event progress blog, you had achieved 340 million kilometers. These are not the only stats which impressed us though, this past weekend Euro Truck Simulator 2 continued to break its own player-count record and reached it's peak at 61,081 players! Activar la Consola TUTORIAL PARA ACTIVAR LA CONSOLA Abrir Consola en el Juego En el JuegoAbrimos el juego como de costumbre y tanto en la pantalla de perfiles, menu o conduciendo podremos abrir la consola pulsando la tecla situada a la izquierda de "1": Yo recomiendo usar la consola en la pantalla de conducción y con el camión parado. Cámara Libre / Cámara 0 CámaraDespués de haber modificado los dos parámetros anteriores, cuando estemos conduciendo podremos pulsar la tecla "0" teniendo acceso a una nueva cámara libre. Para movernos con esa cámara usaremos las flechas del Teclado Numérico (8 arriba, 2 abajo, 4 izquierda, 6 derecha). TeleportPara Teletransportarnos nos moveremos con la cámara libre hacia un lugar seguro y pulsaremos F9 para soltar el camión.
